Hi All I'm Mel
I'm a working mum
I'm menopausal
I live on a bit of a farm
I'm a wife
I've survived cancer
I've fostered
And I lost my disabled daughter
I've spent years juggling work, motherhood, grief, hormones, responsibility and the quiet expectation that women should just cope, smile and keep going
I definitely did keep going not because I was brave , but because there wasn't another option.

Psycomum is a platform where I share my personal stories, opinions, and experiences with you.
Aiming to inspire and entertain while barring my sole to the chaos I've lived and how I navigated all these hurdles over the years.
Hopefully I can offer my readers a fresh perspective by sharing how I learned to laugh when I could. Swear when I

Aiming to inspire and entertain while barring my sole to the chaos I've lived and how I navigated all these hurdles over the years.
Hopefully I can offer my readers a fresh perspective by sharing how I learned to laugh when I could. Swear when I needed to!
And how I learnt to accept 'okay' is good enough.

Psycomum is a space for:
-Mums who are exhausted but still standing
-Women navigating menopause while holding everyone else up.
-Parents who carry grief quietly
-Those who survive through dark humour and chaos.
- The secret hero's who keep juggling lifes curve balls
Psycomum isnt about pretending to be strong all the time.
Its about telling the truth-with humour, compassion and lived experience
